A delegation from Al Falah University visited the headquarters of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (DCAA) to discuss a partnership that will benefit both parties in various cultural, artistic and social aspects.
The delegation included Dr. Khalid Heneidi, Dean of the College of Mass Communication and Prof. Nasr Abbas, Dean of Student Affairs. Dr. Salah Abdullaziz Al Qasim and Prof. Dhaen Shaheen, advisers to the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, welcomed them.
Dr. Al Qassim briefed the delegation with the role played by DCAA in enhancing Dubai’s status as an Arab city that contributes to shaping the local and global cultural and artistic aspect through its initiatives aimed at becoming a platform for cultural exchange and diversified creativity.
For his part, Dr. Heneidi provided a detailed overview of Al Falah University and its future plans. He pointed the importance of a partnership with DCAA and a number of specialized courses or academic programs aimed at preserving UAE cultural heritage.
Prof. Abbas also addressed the role of AFU in supporting cultural and artistic activities through the participation in internal and external cultural exhibitions and festivals.
Towards the end of the meeting, both parties stressed the need to strengthen relations and exchange of ideas for cultural initiatives and workshops for the new academic year.
